Founded in 1999 by Ethan Givoni, SmarteSoft’s functional and performance test products enable non-technical users to develop automated regression and performance test suites without scripting or programming. SmarteSoft also provides test automation services to help customers with software quality assurance. It is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has offices in New England, California, and the Midwest (US).
The SmarteScriptâ„¢ product enables the creation
of business test cases used in the functional and regression testing of
software applications. It provides both automated test scenario
generation and traditional programming features. The SmarteSQA
Technology Suite includes SmarteScriptâ„¢, a grid-visualization engine
(GVE)-driven automated testing platform; SmarteLoad â„¢, a tool used
for functional, performance, and load testing; SmarteXâ„¢, a GVE-driven,
client-designed for test execution and analysis; and
SmarteTrackâ„¢, used for defect tracking and reporting. It also
includes SmarteRunâ„¢, a GVE-driven automation
for Mercury
Interactive's WinRunner; and SmarteTimeâ„¢, an automated time-based scheduling utility.
